Class blogs offer children a unique opportunity to be part of an online learning community. Through a class blog, children can share their work and ideas with each other, their families and the world. Children can also learn valuable skills about keeping themselves and others in the class safe when using online environments.

Rachel Boyd, a New Zealand teacher who also uses class blogs has made a video about some of the powerful and meaningful learning that children can experience by using blogs.
